In our last blog post, ‘How many calories to lose weight‘, we covered the basics of losing weight, and the common pitfalls that come from all the automatic calories that we tend to eat without realising it.

So whether you are going to use some recognised diet plan, such as the 5:2 diet, or just switching to a sensible eating plan, you need to control these automatic habits.

Otherwise, you’ll end up fighting against yourself … and most likely losing.

How to lose weight in a month with our 12 module programme

Week 1:

Day 1: Build your belief in your ability to succeed by completing Module 1: The Empathetic Brain. Listen to the MP3 at least twice today*.

Day 2: Get fully committed by completing Module 2: The Emotional Brain. Again, listen to the MP3 at least twice today.

Day 3: Get your goals straight in your head by completing Module 3: The Pleasure Seeking Brain. Again, listen to the MP3 at least twice today*.

Day 4: Start increasing the rate at which you burn off those calories by Completing Module 4: The Consistent Brain. Listen to the MP3 at least twice today*.

Day 5: Skip right over to Module 6: The Cause and Effect Brain and learn the powerful ‘Craving Buster’ technique to stop you adding automatic calories from snacking. Listen to the MP3 at least twice today*.

Day 6: Skip over to Module 9: The Automatic Brain, and learn how to deal with emotional eating and overwhelming snack attacks. Listen to the MP3 at least twice today*.

Day 7: Go back and complete Module 5: The Relative Brain, as this will show you how to turbo charge your success next week. Listen to the MP3 at least twice today*.

Week 2:

This week, concentrate on putting the Mind Games from last week into practice, so that you start feeling more and more in control. Choose whichever Mind Games and MP3s you found the most useful to focus on this week

You can also complete Module 7: The Role Driven Brain this week. In this module, you’ll learn how to accelerate your progress using the principles from the TV Show, ‘Faking It’.

Week 3:

By now, you should be getting into the swing of things, but there may be some sabotage going on – either from yourself or your friends and family!

So this week, complete Module 8: The Socially Driven Brain, and then carry on using whichever of the other Mind Games you are finding work best for you so that you power on through.

Week 4:

This is your final week, so continue your good work, as your goal is in sight. The pace of change and your deadline have probably been very motivating, but if you like the changes you are seeing and want to continue enjoying them for the longer term, we recommend taking time out to complete the remaining modules of the programme this week.
